How Water Ozonation Works

Feed Water → Pre-Treatment → Ozone Generation → Ozone Injection → Contact Tank → Ozone Destruction/Off-Gas Treatment → Treated Water

Oxygen-containing gas is converted into ozone using an ozone generator. The generated ozone is then transferred into the water through an appropriate injection or contact system.

During the contact period, ozone reacts with microorganisms and oxidizable substances. Excess ozone in the off-gas is safely managed through an appropriate ozone-destruction system.
